IT Nation 2010 Highlights from ConnectWise Consulting
Written by Abbie Tioseco
ConnectWise Consulting Services had a great year and the team is especially pleased with the partner reaction to IT Nation 2010. Our consultants were excited to meet the partners that they’ve spoken to during webinars and sessions, and to reconnect with partners they have met on the road, at the ConnectWise Regional User Group Meetings. A few days before the official start of IT Nation 2010, the Consulting team was hard at work sharing their ConnectWise knowledge with early arrivers, from individual face-to-face consulting sessions to full day interactive workshops. There was good response to the workshops and some of our consultants weigh in:
Partners were very interested in the SLA Workshop and most reflected that they will need to start offering Service Levels with their Managed Service Agreements. – Craig Fulton
I presented on Workflow Rules with ConnectWise Partner Tim Beard and the partner community really found value in it. They like hearing from a partner’s perspective and enjoy sessions where other partners are presenting. – Michelle Ibrahim
The Fundamentals Workshop had a great turnout and partners especially enjoyed the boot camp since Michelle and I used the ConnectWise Demo Database with actual examples that they were able to relate to. – Rachel Ruggieri
In addition to the optional workshops, there were a record number of breakout sessions during IT Nation 2010 – 89 to be exact! ConnectWise partners can download many of the presentations, just visit IT Nation Breakout Session Presentations on the ConnectWise University. ConnectWiser and Partner breakout sessions were well received with many of the rooms at full capacity. With such a large group coming together to form the IT Nation, there was lots of connecting and collaborating. Senior consultant, Jeanine Sullivan, reflected that she had many memorable and positive discussions with partners, including suggestions for some new reports for Distribution, Inventory, and Purchasing modules. Collectively, the team received a lot of great feedback regarding the ConnectWise University, enhancement ideas, and the partner experience, which we will incorporate in our offerings in the coming year!
